Support Our Troops Mission:

"The mission of Support Our Troops, Inc. is as a pro-active, non-political volunteer charitable organization that helps provide for the material, physical and emotional needs of our military men and women at home and abroad."

WHAT SOT DOES:

We mail monthly “care packages” to our troops overseas; meet and greet troop flights at Dallas-Fort Worth International airport; send gift cards to active duty soldiers at Christmas; send birthday cards and written communication to our troops on a regular basis; maintain a roster of  military personnel related to Robson Ranch residents; make financial contributions to other nonprofit organizations such as Intrepid Fallen Heroes; and promote community spirit and patriotic pride through our 180 flag Ed Robson Blvd median display,  U.S. Flag Installation fund raiser and support of the July 4^th parade.

Our primary fund raiser is the annual Silent Auction held each November on Veterans Day at the Robson Ranch Community Center.

Dues are ten dollars per year and membership is open to all Robson Ranch residents. Meetings are held at the Robson Community Center on the third Saturday of each month at 12:00 noon.

The new 2012/13 program begins on July 1.

Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program

SOT asks all those who view our website and live in the DFW area to consider supporting the Kroger Grocery Store Neighbor to Neighbor program. By participating SOT receives a percentage of every eligible purchase you make at any Kroger Grocery in the DFW shopping area. It costs you nothing to enroll. All you need to do is print out the Kroger participation letter

and scan the letter the next time you shop at Kroger. Kroger keeps track of your yearly purchases and SOT receives a donation directly from Kroger at the end of the year. The more people who participate in the program, the more money SOT has for it's mission. Please consider this simple and effective way to contribute to SOT by just shopping for your monthly groceries.
